Job Description

Kitchen Production Technician Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Position Overview Pharmers is currently seeking a full-time Kitchen Production Technician to assist in the production, packaging, and labeling of cannabis-infused confections, including gummies, chocolates, hard candy, taffy, and more. This is a hands-on kitchen production role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that requires strong attention to detail, consistency, cleanliness, and the ability to follow recipes and procedures accurately. The ideal candidate is dependable, team-oriented, and comfortable working with heated ingredients, precise measurements, and time-sensitive production processes. In addition to kitchen production duties, this position also requires strong computer proficiency. The right candidate must be comfortable working with templates, editing product labels, managing print files, and navigating basic design software such as Adobe Photoshop. While cannabis industry experience is not required, prior kitchen, food production, confectionary, bakery, or commercial manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of confection production, including:
  • Accurately measuring ingredients
  • Heating and mixing product batches
  • Monitoring temperatures and consistency during production
  • Filling molds and preparing products for packaging Equipment setup, cleaning, and breakdown Package, wrap, label, and prepare finished products for distribution Edit and print product labels using pre-existing templates in Adobe Photoshop Maintain accurate production records and documentation Ensure consistency, accuracy, cleanliness, and quality control throughout all production processes Maintain cleanliness and organization of production areas, equipment, and workstations Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), sanitation requirements, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) Work both independently and collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age Must be authorized to work in the United States Reliability and punctuality are required Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a production environment Ability to maintain strong attention to detail in production, packaging, labeling, and documentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Must possess a current Food Handler Certification or be able to successfully obtain certification upon hire Must remain compliant with all local, state, federal, and internal cannabis industry regulations and policies Preferred Skills & Experience Prior kitchen, confectionary, bakery, food production, or commercial manufacturing experience strongly preferred Experience working with recipes, temperature-sensitive products, or batch preparation is highly valued Strong computer literacy is required Experience with Adobe Photoshop or similar design/editing software strongly preferred Comfortable editing templates, managing files, and operating printers/computer systems Cannabis industry experience is a plus, but not required What We're Looking For We're looking for someone dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
