This role involves supporting manufacturing processes, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining efficient operations across various production stages. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in manufacturing practices, materials handling, and laboratory procedures, contributing to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills and participate in a fast-paced, innovative setting dedicated to excellence. Duties Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment, including machining tools and packaging machinery, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist in the assembly, packaging, and labeling of products according to specified procedures and quality standards. Handle materials efficiently within warehouse environments, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as needed for inventory movement. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including batch records and laboratory test results. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities and implementing process improvements. Ensure compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) regulations during production and documentation processes. Conduct routine inspections of equipment and work areas to uphold safety standards and cleanliness. Collaborate with laboratory personnel for testing samples and verifying product quality throughout the manufacturing cycle. Assist in inventory management by tracking raw materials, components, and finished goods within the warehouse. Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills related to machining, materials handling, and laboratory procedures. Skills Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on lean principles and process optimization. Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, including machining, packaging, and materials handling techniques. Proficiency in operating forklifts safely within warehouse settings. Familiarity with CGMP regulations applicable to pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing. Laboratory experience for testing raw materials or finished products is highly desirable. Ability to perform machining tasks accurately and efficiently. Prior warehouse experience with inventory management systems is advantageous. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate across departments and ensure quality standards are met. This role is integral to maintaining high-quality production standards while fostering continuous improvement.
