Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Direct Hire Direct Hire Opportunity | Long-Term Care Pharmacy A growing long-term care pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Production Pharmacy Technician to join its day shift team. This direct hire position offers the opportunity to work in a closed-door pharmacy environment focused on serving residents in long-term care facilities. The selected candidate will receive cross-training in both the dosage packaging and toting departments, creating a well-rounded pharmacy operations experience. Position Highlights Direct hire from day one Stable weekday schedule with rotating weekends Cross-training opportunities across multiple pharmacy departments Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Key Responsibilities Prepare medications for dispensing using specialized packaging, including blister packs and unit-dose packaging Support medication fulfillment processes to ensure timely delivery to residents Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and monitoring medication expiration dates Maintain accurate patient profiles and medication records Adhere to pharmacy regulations, quality standards, and workflow procedures Collaborate with pharmacists and fellow technicians to support daily operations Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience required New York State Pharmacy Technician registration preferred but not required PTCB certification preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a production-focused setting Comfortable learning new pharmacy software systems (Frameworks experience is a plus but training is available)
Schedule Day Shift Monday-Friday:
