Job Overview The Technician is responsible for advanced evaluation, troubleshooting, and component-level diagnosis of returned product. The duties also include troubleshooting of manufacturing fallout. This role reports to quality and acts as a technical escalation resource within manufacturing, supporting process control, corrective action, and continual improvement to improve product quality, yield, and customer satisfaction. #LI-TB1A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Perform advanced component-level troubleshooting of returned products and in-process manufacturing failures. Consisting of display boards, power supplies, network cards and control boards using SMT and thru hole technologies.
Interpret and apply electrical schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and controlled manufacturing documents
Conduct detailed failure analysis to determine root cause related to design, materials, assembly, or test processes
Ensure all evaluations, repairs, and findings are accurately documented and traceable per
ISO 9001
Support Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities
Collaborate cross-functionally to address nonconforming product
Analyze defect data to identify trends and systemic risks
Develop and maintain controlled troubleshooting procedures

What will help you thrive in this role? Associate degree in Electronics or equivalent experience
3+ years troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment Component-level diagnostics and schematic expertise
Experience in an ISO 9001-certified environment
Advanced PCB troubleshooting (multilayer, SMT)
Analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits
Precision soldering and rework
IPC-A-610 and
IPC-7711/7721
knowledge
Cross-functional work with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering
Clear communication of technical findings Working Conditions Manufacturing floor
ESD-controlled work areas
Regular use of microscopes, soldering tools and communication test software
