Schedule:
Monday to Friday 5:30am -2:00pm plus OT opportunities

Summary:
The Production Assembly Technician is responsible for producing engine packages by assembling parts and subassemblies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Read and understand blueprints or assembly instructions so you know exactly how to put things together the right way. Keep track of parts and inventory—labeling, organizing, and making sure everything is where it needs to be and in the right amount. Test finished products to make sure everything works properly and meets the required standards. Line up and fit parts accurately before assembly, checking clearances and measurements. Double-check that each part matches up with the blueprints using tools like calipers, gauges, or micrometers. Gather all the materials and tools needed for each specific build or job package. Install piping, wiring, fixtures, and other components to complete the assembly. Use tools to drill, cut, tap, or ream parts as needed for the build. Make repairs or adjustments if something isn't working or a part is damaged. Measure final products to make sure they meet specifications. Use hand and power tools—like drills, wrenches, mallets, and hammers—safely and effectively. Do basic maintenance on equipment to keep things running smoothly. Keep your work area clean and organized. Help identify any product defects and fill out the proper documentation. Record your work and quality checks on production forms. Be open to cross-training so you can help out across different builds and learn multiple product lines. Operate Forklifts to move mateials as needed.
Requirements:
