First shift position- weekly pay! Westlake Tool & Die, a top manufacturer in the metal stamping industry, offers a comprehensive, full-service approach to metal stamping. With our team of experts, we provide personalized solutions using our extensive in-house capabilities of stamping, prototyping, CNC machining, robotic welding, and assembly services to deliver fast, impactful results to our customers in industries such as food processing, HVAC, plumbing, and the oil & gas industry. We are currently seeking a Press Operator to set up and operate metal stamping presses in order to produce quality parts in support of company objectives. This position will run metal stamping machines and check parts in a safe and efficient manner. The operator will ensure that specific work instructions are followed per requirements and perform in-process inspections of the parts being produced.

Responsibilities:

Operate single hit and/or coil-fed metal stamping presses ranging from 60 to 200 tons Operate coil handling equipment such as servo feeds, automatic straighteners and cradles, reels, and conveyors for scrap removal Run parts and perform in-process inspection during production using measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, check-fixtures, and gauges Work with the other departments to ensure that parts being produced meet quality standards and customer requirements. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements

Qualifications:

Problem solving skills Must be able to lift and move 20lbs or more Possess a drive for achieving production requirements while focused on quality and safety Mechanical aptitude Work as a team member sharing duties and assisting others when needed

Skills:
