7am- 7:30pm (Flexible pending business needs)
Description of Role:
The General Relief Operator is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the performance of the sites production lines to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and GMP policies. What are we looking for? Minimum Requirements High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education 1 year related manufacturing operator experience Proficient in computer software's including MS office and email
Preferred Qualifications:
Technical degree or certificate Fork lift certified 2 years in a manufacturing operator role
Physical Requirements:
Can perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation. Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs) Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping. Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, lean over equipment, and operate in confined spaces. Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods, with shifts lasting 12 hours Capable of working in hot, cold and wet conditions Proficient in understanding, communicating, reading, and writing in English. What will be your key responsibilities? Monitor and manage the performance of multiple machines, processes, or pieces of equipment. Ensure proper documentation is maintained for quality and inventory control, including holding records, case samples, and shipping finished products. Operate and maintain push/pull lifts and forklifts Facilitate changeovers, optimize production lines, perform quality checks and audits, meet production schedules, report downtime, and minimize waste. Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives within operations. Adhere to good hygiene, safety, quality, and manufacturing practices at all times. Troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper mechanical operation. Perform any ad hoc tasks as assigned
