D Employment Opportunity Position:
Additive Manufacturing Technician Job Profile:
JuggerBot 3D is seeking a highly motivated individual to become a member of the Production and Service Team. This multi-discipline position will primarily perform mechanical and electrical assembly, adjustment, calibration and service to manufacturing specifications on subassemblies and finished additive manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Equipment Assembly Assembles equipment mechanically and electrically in accordance with daily / weekly production schedules. Test and evaluate assemblies to determine condition by utilizing appropriate test procedures, test equipment, and processes. Inspect own work or the work of others for quality and meet company quality requirements as defined in the quality manual and work instructions; Support continuous improvement opportunities within designated work area; Report and solve quality issues immediately. In conjunction with Engineering and Production staff, identify tooling, machines or fixtures which optimize manufacturing processes. Provide effective training to other Additive Manufacturing Technicians and Assembly Technicians Equipment Service Provide mechanical installation, repair, and maintenance service on additive manufacturing equipment to our customers sites. Plan inventory and maintain minimum stock of parts and supplies at all time. Interpret electrical and mechanical engineering drawings and schematics. Diagnose complex technical problems and perform on site repairs. Maintains work records as required for onsite service, timekeeping, service agreements, and phone support. General Develop and maintain cross-discipline specialties and significant depth of knowledge of products and processes. Achieve established work-area cleanliness standards and maintain a high-degree of organization in work area(s); follow and support 5S program efforts. Perform work in a safe manner and adhere to safety programs, processes, and procedures set forth for the specific process and for company safety programs in general.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Experience with CNC machinery and automation equipment Experience with CAD-based design software and/or computer science programs. Experience in a technical role, preferably troubleshooting, programming of robots, PLCs, motion controllers and proficient use of measurement tools Excellent organizational and time management skills with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in assigned tasks on a consistent basis Understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. A self-starter, assertive, creative, decisive, and self-confident Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously Must be trustworthy, personable, and comfortable working directly with customers. Ability to travel and work flexible hours (estimated amount of travel 30%+) Proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Education Requirements:
2-year electronic or technical degree with a working knowledge of CNC controls or other types CNC systems. 3+years of related work experience in manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 5+ years of Manufacturing experience or electro-mechanical assembly and calibration experience
