Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Required to understand and follow all company policies and procedures Ensure that all guards and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked Required to meet or exceed production standards Required to maintain quality standards on all products Safely load and unload coating line conveyor with the proper tooling and product as directed by team leader or supervisor Maintain good housekeeping practices throughout the department Responsible to maintain a safe working environment for all employees Requires regular attendance per the schedule assigned by supervisor Required to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures Required to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation Read and interpret blueprints whenever required by operation Select the proper tooling and process set-up as directed by team leader or supervisor Perform other tasks as assigned Adhere to
ISO 9001
Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and
OSHAS 18001
certification requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
A thorough understanding of the hazard communication program Must have a total understanding of the shop packets released to the shop floor Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or its equivalent, desired Working Conditions /
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. in a safe manner Clarity of vision and the ability to focus on a fast and repetitious operation for extended period of time Exposure to heavy equipment or components needed to produce product (safety toed shoes required) Exposures to sparks, chips, and dust (eye protection required) Must be capable of maintaining a 40-hour workweek and working overtime as needed Must be able to perform repetitive motion.
Examples:
