Job Description

Description Position Summary Advertising Production Technician receives completed and approved computer art layouts from Design staff, then prints, finishes, and delivers product to the appropriate place on property. This is
  • not• a Graphic Design position, but familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is helpful.
Essential Functions Provides exemplary service for all internal and external guests. Receives completed layout files from Design staff, and outputs files using high speed digital press, large format printer, engraver, and other digital output equipment. Serves as primary in-house maintainer of digital press and large format printer To ensure coverage, cross-trains all designers in current printing and finishing equipment and techniques. Advises design staff on file output preparation to maximize efficient use of time and materials. Finishes digitally printed output using various cutters, scorers, folders, lamination and wrapping equipment. Maintains and operates 3-D Printing hardware and software Maintains and operates CNC cutting equipment and software Produces set pieces and props for casino promotions when within the scope of capabilities of our in-house resources Delivers or coordinates delivery finished output to requesting departments, picks up materials and specifications when necessary. Installs posters and adhesive or magnetic graphics on property as needed. Tracks and shares all production task status in project management software Inventories and orders all departmental print consumables (ink, toner, paper, maintenance kits, etc.) and places orders to maintain par levels of stock at all times. Maintains a high level of order and efficiency in Graphics and Advertising storage and work areas. Attends weekly staff meetings and contributes positively to the team effort. Advises Advertising and Promotion staff on current in-house production capabilities. Assists at property special events/promotions as needed. Assists with events to include ushering, setup, breakdown, and item distribution. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Position Qualifications

Experience Six months or more in a fast-paced office or production environment. Experience with 3-D printing and CNC cutting hardware and software Computer Skills Must be familiar with Internet browsers and information searches. Must be familiar with MS-Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be familiar with printing to color printers and copiers. Familiarity with online project management software Certificates & Licenses Valid Driver's License. Must obtain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License. Other Requirements Must be able to routinely move and load cases and rolls of paper up to 60 lbs. Near and Far Sense of Sound Work Environment Work will take place in a small office environment with occasional exposure to a busy resort and gaming environment with multiple distractions. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Occasionally the work environment will be in locations exposed to smoke and the associated affects. Working Conditions Conditions of employment include passing a pre-employment drug screen, a background investigation, and completing a 180-day introductory period.
