The successful candidate will be able to work with limited supervision and be able to train others in the job. The position requires electromechanical assembly, ability to record data, and proper use of hand and power tools and PPE. This position will work onsite at ZincFive headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon and will report to the Senior Manager of US Manufacturing.
Manufacturing Assembly Technician II Job Duties:
Perform electro-mechanical assemblies using BKM (Best known method) assembly instruction onsite in headquarters located in Tualatin, OR Proficient in many assembly areas of the production floor Assist manufacturing engineer on continued process improvement including cycle time/takt time reduction Understand Lean manufacturing process and support implementation Able to read and follow work instructions Use a variety of machine and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks Proficient in NCM (Non-conforming material) process and disposition Support and manage inventory control and workflow management Assist the manufacturing manager in developing and implementing appropriate systems to measure department efficiencies, product quality, and performance Perform in process inspection as well as final inspection Report and troubleshoot any problems per established company manufacturing guidelines with minimal assistance. Responsible for individual station record keeping, cleanliness, and adherence to OSHA and company safety guidelines Take direction from the direct manager/supervisor to execute production and shipment priorities and resource alignment. Escalate any manufacturing related issues to direct manager/supervisor and seek a short term and long-term solution to all open action items or issues Work directly with shipping logistics and procurement to monitor material shortage issues and escalate immediately to minimize production delays if necessary
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 - 3 years of previous experience Product or industry-specific experience in assembly or test Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office product Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of manufacturing
QA Preferred Experience/Skills:
Relevant certifications preferred in Quality Auditor, Quality Improvement Associate, Six Sigma Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience Experience with implementation of corrective action programs Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements

Teamwork Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Work involves sitting, walking, standing, bending, and stooping for long periods of time Ability to wear proper arc flash rated PPE when required Lifting up to 25 pounds Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs and electronic components Warehouse and office environments Salary offers will depend on factors that include the location you work from, your level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role.
