DGS Print Production Technician Harrisburg, PA 6 DAYS AGO 22512166 Summary Harrisburg, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 1 Years Experience High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED) No Commission 37.50 hours per week / Evening, Night Shift / Full-Time Description As a Print Production Technician, you will be responsible for operating high-speed, high-volume print and mail equipment in a mail production environment. Your complex, time-sensitive, and data-sensitive work will be key to producing a variety of forms, letters, manuals, brochures, posters, marketing materials, and envelopes that are necessary for the efficient and effective functioning of Commonwealth agencies. Your responsibilities will involve setting up and operating high-speed digital printers, various intelligent envelope inserters, and digital offset equipment, as well as performing quality assurance and quality control inspections. This includes reviewing and verifying job specifications, inspecting output to determine whether standards have been met, ensuring that machines and equipment are properly maintained, troubleshooting issues as they arise, and prioritizing daily work to meet required deadlines. You will also be responsible for performing hand bindery tasks as well as packing, wrapping, and sealing materials for delivery. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment in a 24-hour per day, 5-day-a-week facility Work schedules include a 30-minute lunch: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday

• Friday 3:00 AM to 11:00 PM Monday
• Friday 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM Sunday
• Thursday This position is considered essential.

You will be required to work during emergencies and office closings.

Telework:

You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Print Production Operator (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of experience in the operation of print or mail insertion equipment or similar machinery used in a print or mail production facility; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
