Job Description

Entry-level position into a Pharmaceutical Career. Prior experience is not required for the right individual! Safety training and training on all processes and equipment will be provided. Lyophilization Technology, Inc. (LTI) , established in 1992, is a unique Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization that manufactures clinical supplies for freeze dried pharmaceuticals, biologics, diagnostics, and biopharmaceuticals from antibiotics to vaccines. LTI is located in Ivyland, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We have a position opening for a Manufacturing Technician . The ideal candidate is detail oriented, self-motivated, creative and energetic. As a member of the team, you will participate in the preparation of parenteral preparations for clients conducting toxicological and clinical trial studies. This unique aseptic processing operation, with containment capabilities, focuses on preparing sterile lyophilized products for toxicology and clinical studies of critical freeze-dried products. Manufacturing Technician Day-to-day operations in the GMPManufacturing Area Maintain inventory of materials and supplies Maintain and support the cleanrooms and aseptic areas, including cleaning, sanitization and environmental monitoring activities. Compose and review Standard Operating Procedures, Maintain containment equipment and execute proper procedures. Preparation of sterile toxicology and clinical supply materials. Participate in batch preparation involving steam sterilization and depyrogenation, filtering, filling, lyophilization, inspection, and packaging activities, Execute procedures for preparation and processing, completing batch documentation. The activities will be outlined in standard operating procedures and master batch records. Follow all aspects of cGMP compliance for the Clinical Manufacturing Area including all its related elements such as facilities, equipment and documentation, training, reports and records. Preferred Requirements:
Good mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot on technical and process related issues preferred. Experience in a food related, healthcare product, clinical or commercial manufacturing environment. Experience in cleanroom environments. Knowledge of cGMP regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in MS Windows operating system using
MS Office:
Word and Excel.
