Job Description:

We are seeking detail oriented production technicians to join a manufacturing team in a fast paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assembling cable harnesses from schematic/technical drawings and operating various hand tools to support the build of high quality products.

Responsibilities:

Assemble multiple cable harnesses from schematic/technical drawings Crimp pins, terminate shields, and assemble connectors Manage harnesses with tie wrap/lacing, braided sleeves, and heat shrink as necessary Assemble electro-mechanical modules and systems as required Testing products Required to use wire strippers, crimpers, solder stations, heat gun, various hand tools, VOM, cable tester, and tape measure

Education:

High School Experience:

24 months 2 years experience in related field or academic study

Physical:

Be able to lift up to 45 pounds Good manual dexterity of hands and eye sight to use a wide range of tools, materials, and equipment

Skills:

General knowledge of common mechanical techniques Ability to verify measurements to validate part compliance using various measurement devices Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings Ability to verify part dimensions against drawing requirements General computer data entry knowledge
