Job Description
About the Role We are looking for a skilled Production Machine Operator to join our extrusion manufacturing team. In this role, you will drive production efficiency by managing extrusion lines and secondary fabrication processes to ensure high-quality belting products reach our customers on time. Responsibilities Configure and manage extrusion line setups, including dies and tooling, to ensure optimal production flow. Execute precise quality inspections using precision measurement tools like micrometers and dial calipers to maintain product integrity. Operate automated and manual fabrication equipment to produce custom belts, o-rings, and profiles. Maintain accurate production records within shop floor control software to support inventory and data tracking. Execute secondary processing tasks, including drilling and butt welding, while verifying weld strength and quality. Promote a safe and efficient workspace by adhering to 6S standards and participating in regular safety audits. Safely transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility using a forklift. Qualifications Required Skills High School Diploma or GED. At least 1 year of experience in a machine operation or industrial manufacturing role. Proven mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Ability to interpret technical prints and follow standardized work instructions. Preferred Skills Active forklift certification. Experience working within ISO-certified quality management systems. Background in extrusion or high-precision fabrication environments.
