1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift Available Job Description We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer Technician (MET) to support CNC programming, setup, process development, troubleshooting, first article validation, and production support within a precision manufacturing environment. This is a highly technical, hands-on role requiring an individual capable of taking a component from drawing or CAD model through CNC programming, machine setup, prove-out, first article approval, and full production release. This is NOT a programming-only role and NOT an engineering-only role. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on machining and manufacturing process experience. Key Responsibilities CNC Programming & Process Development Create CNC programs using CAD/CAM software Develop efficient machining strategies Convert engineering drawings and CAD models into production-ready programs Select tooling, fixtures, and machining processes Optimize cycle times and manufacturing efficiency Setup, Prove-Out & Production Release Perform machine setups and prove-outs Run and validate first articles Troubleshoot machining and process issues Verify dimensions and tolerances per blueprint requirements Release validated jobs into production Manufacturing & Production Support Provide technical support to machinists and production teams Support engineering changes and process improvements Troubleshoot production challenges and quality issues Drive continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing operations Required Qualifications Strong CNC programming experience Hands-on CAD/CAM experience Machine setup and prove-out experience First article inspection/validation experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Production support and manufacturing process experience Preferred Skills Experience in precision machining environments Multi-axis CNC machining knowledge Strong understanding of tooling and machining practices Continuous improvement mindset
