Job Title:
Manufacturing Technician Job Description As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for operating various machines, including the winder, grinder, and hopper, and ensuring the efficient loading of the boring machine. You will maintain an understanding of raw materials and their appropriate manufacturing locations, while monitoring machine operations to detect malfunctions. Responsibilities Operate, set up, and troubleshoot machines. Take products from the conveyor and load the boring machine as directed. Monitor machine operations and observe lights and gauges to detect malfunctions. Check the quality of products, examining, measuring, and weighing materials or products. Inform the shift supervisor about product quality problems, equipment issues, and safety concerns. Essential Skills Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues using various hand and power tools. Proficiency in reading a tape measure and completing basic math. Experience in running a production line and understanding machine operations. At least 1 year of experience in machine operating, manufacturing, repair, troubleshooting, and machine building. Additional Skills & Qualifications Quality control experience. Work Environment The work environment is located in a brand new, clean, and non-climate-controlled facility in downtown Charleston on the Cooper River. The position operates on a rotating schedule where you work 15 days out of the entire month, alternating between 48-hour and 36-hour weeks. Shifts rotate between day and night every four weeks, with 7 days on and 7 days off. Shifts are from 7 am to 7 pm or 7 pm to 7 am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
