Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Line Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precise assembly tasks on production lines, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are assembled efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with technical schematics, and experience with various hand and power tools. Duties Operate assembly line equipment and tools to assemble components according to detailed schematics and blueprints. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify component dimensions. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure correct assembly procedures. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to assemble, fabricate, or modify parts as required. Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process using precision instruments and visual inspections. Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols and manufacturing standards. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues or discrepancies during production runs. Support warehouse operations by managing inventory of parts and materials needed for assembly. Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment when necessary to move raw materials or finished products. Follow safety guidelines related to machining, welding, soldering, and the use of power tools. Experience Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly environments is preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings. Knowledge of mechanical systems, fabrication techniques, welding, soldering, and machining processes. Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Warehouse experience including inventory management and forklift operation is advantageous. Basic understanding of manufacturing workflows and quality control procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with problem-solving skills for troubleshooting assembly issues.
