Coating Operator - 2nd Shift

Position Summary The Coating Technician is responsible for supporting coating operations, maintaining equipment, and ensuring product quality meets company standards. This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for coating machines (excluding high-voltage components) Perform routine maintenance on coating equipment and related machinery Assist in monitoring and controlling product quality within the coating department Follow established work instructions for operating coating machines and washers Ensure adherence to control plans to produce high-quality coated products Accurately track, document, and maintain coating process records Collaborate with team members and leadership to resolve production or quality issues Support continuous improvement initiatives within the coating process Work flexible or rotating shifts as required Participate in on-call rotation (24/6 coverage) Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of vacuum systems and coating processes Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment Understanding of coating machine operations and principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to evaluate coating quality and make sound decisions Familiarity with precision, tolerances, and quality standards in manufacturing Proven ability to maintain accurate records and documentation Strong written and verbal communication skills Solid attendance, safety, and quality performance history #
