Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Discusses layout, assembly procedures and problems with Electronics Engineer and Supervisor to clarify design details and functional criteria of electronic units.
- Suggests changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
- Sets up standard test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life tests to evaluate performance and reliability of production models.
- Analyzes and interprets test data.
- Adjusts and calibrates circuitry and components and records effects on unit performance.
- Utilizes technical drawings, parts layouts, and schematics to evaluate and illustrate a system's operating characteristics, malfunctions, deviations from design specifications, and functional limitations.
- Checks functioning of newly completed equipment to evaluate system performance under simulated operating conditions. Competencies

- Possesses good soldering skills and is proficient in the identification and proper handling of active and passive electronic components. Follows proper quality procedures in all aspects of assembly and testing of particular manufactured products.
