In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation of production processes, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your hands-on expertise will help drive productivity and uphold safety and compliance standards across all manufacturing activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced environment where your skills in manufacturing, materials handling, and machinery operation will make a tangible impact. Duties Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery with precision, adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Assist in the setup, calibration, and maintenance of production machinery to ensure optimal performance. Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods. Support packaging operations by preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Utilize forklift trucks safely for moving heavy materials and products throughout the facility. Follow Lean manufacturing principles to identify waste reduction opportunities and improve workflow processes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to comply with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards and safety regulations. Conduct quality checks in collaboration with laboratory teams to verify product specifications meet required standards. Document production activities accurately, including logs for materials handling, equipment maintenance, and process deviations. Qualifications Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of Lean principles. Hands-on laboratory experience or familiarity with quality testing procedures is preferred. Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely in a warehouse setting. Knowledge of CGMP regulations applicable to pharmaceutical or biotech manufacturing is advantageous. Experience with packaging processes and materials handling techniques. Skilled in machining or working with various manufacturing tools and equipment. Previous warehouse experience demonstrating efficiency in inventory management and logistics coordination. Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining a proactive approach to problem-solving. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
