Candle Production Technician Roam Homegrown - South Austin, TX (Near Hwy 290 & Nutty Brown Rd) Full-Time |
In-Person Pay:
$20-$22/hour (based on experience)

We are not a corporate office. We are a hands-on production facility where quality, precision, and accountability matter every day. About the Role We are hiring a Candle Production Technician with a primary focus on pouring and production quality . This role is critical to our operation. You will be responsible for producing candles that meet strict quality standards — consistently, efficiently, and with attention to detail. This is a focused, independent work environment . If you take pride in doing things right and don't need constant supervision, you'll do very well here. What You'll Do Pour candles to precise specifications (temperature, fill level, consistency) Monitor and maintain quality throughout the production process Ensure wicks are centered and set correctly Identify and correct defects before products move downstream Follow detailed production processes and SOPs Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation Support overall production flow as needed What We're Looking For You'll be a strong fit if you: Have excellent attention to detail — you notice small imperfections others miss Can focus for long periods and stay consistent throughout the day Are comfortable working independently without constant direction Take pride in your work and quality standards Are self-motivated and don't need to be pushed to stay productive Are comfortable working in a fragrant environment (strong candle scents) Are reliable, steady, and show up ready to work every day Nice to Have (Not Required) Manufacturing or production experience Experience with candles, batching, or hands-on assembly work Experience working in fast-paced environments with quality standards What This Job Is NOT Not a sit-around, slow-paced role Not a highly social, team-chat-driven environment Not a place for cutting corners or "good enough" work What You'll Get A stable, growing company with long-term opportunity Clear expectations and structured processes A team that values quality, ownership, and accountability Opportunity to grow into higher-responsibility roles over time How to Apply Reply with your resume and a short note on why this type of work fits you .
