Canning Line Associate (WIP), Seasonal Full-Time Reports to: Shift Manager, Copack About Wildpack Wildpack is a rapidly growing and established co-packaging and co-manufacturer with multi-site facilities for both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Wildpack produces and packages ready-to-drink beverages for a variety of brand owners in the retail CPG space. The company specializes in aluminum can beverage sleeving, filling, and third-party logistics. About this role Wildpack is looking for a dedicated, Seasonal Full-Time Canning Line Associate (WIP) with an interest in supporting a rapidly growing company. Seaosonal/Temp This seasonal temporary position supports increased summer production and operational demand during the company s peak season. Employment is expected to begin in approximately June and continue through August , generally lasting approximately 90-120 days depending on business needs, production schedules, and operational demands. Seasonal temporary employees are generally not eligible for company-sponsored benefits except where required by applicable law or company policy. This position may require full-time hours, overtime, weekend work, and extended shifts based on production needs.A day in the life:
What you do Daily setup, CIP of a canning line and product supply equipment Daily operation of canning line and supporting equipment (automated depalletizer, laser ink date coder, carton machines, tray formers, conveyors, and can rinse) Ensure all beverage is in the proper condition (temperature, carbonation level, etc.) prior to canning Ensure all canning activity is done according to SOPs regarding yield, can fill-height, dissolved oxygen levels, seaming standards, and material loss Maintain proper canning records and logs Ensure regular equipment care of all machinery. Maintain cleanliness of your equipment and surroundings in line with company established GMPs.Qualifications:
What you know High School Diploma or equivalent Technical/professional training in mechanical and/or electrical field a plus Experience working in beverage production or manufacturing environment Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve quickly Ability to lift 55lbs and move 165lbs occasionally Standing for extended periods of time (up to approximately 8 hours per shift, with scheduled breaks) Repetitive motions (hands, wrists, arms) and reaching Operate a forklift and complex machinery (training can be provided) Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse with extreme heat and cold Strong work ethic and a team player that is looking for a position at a fast- growing company Ability to operate multiple work centers simultaneously Willingness to assist with tasks outside key responsibilities Communicate efficiently with team and customers Wildpack Values; Who you are Energy
