What to Expect
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to tackle manufacturing onspecialized batteryelectrode calendaring, lamination, and slitting equipment. You will be working alongside engineers to develop an advanced new product and be among the first individuals to work on cutting edge manufacturing processes within Tesla. This fast-paced team is the perfect environment if you are interested in developing multiple skills and having an immediate impact on the future of electric vehicles.
This is a hands-on position working with parts, equipment, and data. What You'll Do
Interact daily with Manufacturing Engineers to communicate results and receive tasks
Work with OEM's during equipment installation, and provide input to machine development
Perform equipment checks defined in SAT protocol, conduct analytical tests, measure and record data using defined tools and software
Support development and refinement of manufacturing processes and equipment specifications
Focus on work area safety, cleanliness, material usage and organization
Identify and correct small minor maintenance tasks on tools. Identify root-cause issues with processes and equipment
Participate in the continuous improvement of safety, quality, output, and tool uptime What You'll Bring
Associates Degree in a technical discipline and 3+years experience in a technician role or equivalent experience
Prior experience electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, fluid, and hydraulic systems on high volume manufacturing lines
Ability to perform hands-on tasks related to commissioning and maintenance, including, but not limited to, welding, rigging, drilling, fabricating, and machine operation
Prior experience with equipment installation and troubleshooting
Experience with LOTO and similar safety practices, as well as a drive to ensure your own and other's safety at work
Able to work under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
Able to interpret engineering drawings; experience with or exposure to 3D and 2D CAD, as well as familiarity with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Compensation and Benefits
