Job Purpose:
Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the Electro-Mechanical assemblies, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.
Nature of Duties/ Responsibilities:
Performs a wide variety of electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair To set up, arrange, and operate equipment as per the specifications and instructions from the supervisor. Able to read and understand the schematic diagrams, blueprints, product manuals, process documents, and gather information regarding its parts, fixtures, tools, etc. Utilizes test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components To perform regular test and inspection procedures to ensure that the product is formed in accordance with the specifications. Identifies and corrects errors Cross-train on different assemblies, Inspection methods Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Observes all safety standards. Attends required health and safety training and follows safety and security policies, procedures and practices. Promptly reports accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept
Qualification & Experience:
Associate Degree or Higher Requires a minimum of 1-2 years semiconductor integration experience and technical knowledge. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload to meet strict deadlines under supervision Read and understand prints and drawings.
Other Requirements:
This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, the use of hand and power tools, and driving or operating heavy machinery including forklifts Additionally, because this position may involve working in a clean room, the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment such as coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields may be required
