Production Assembly Technician

Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Assembly Technician to join an advanced manufacturing team. This position involves highly skilled hand assembly work requiring exceptional dexterity, precision, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing repetitive, close-tolerance tasks while maintaining consistent quality and adherence to established manufacturing processes. 1st Shift - M-Fri 7:30AM - 5:00PM $20-25/HR Cedar Park, Tx Key Responsibilities Perform precision hand assembly and insulation wrapping of components according to detailed specifications and work instructions. Apply specialized materials using consistent techniques to ensure proper coverage, alignment, and quality standards. Conduct component preparation, cleaning, finishing, and inspection activities. Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other production equipment safely and effectively. Follow standard operating procedures, engineering drawings, travelers, and quality documentation. Record production and inspection data accurately in digital manufacturing systems. Participate in process improvement initiatives, workplace organization efforts, and production scaling activities. Perform in-process quality inspections and report any defects, discrepancies, or process concerns. Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to improve processes and product quality. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support additional production and assembly activities as assigned. Qualifications Experience performing precision hand work in manufacturing, assembly, sewing, upholstery, electronics, automotive, aerospace, medical device, or similar industries. Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. Ability to perform repetitive, detail-focused tasks while maintaining quality and consistency. Experience reading work instructions, drawings, blueprints, or assembly documentation preferred. Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes. Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement practices is a plus. Basic computer skills and experience documenting work in digital systems preferred. Required Skills Excellent attention to detail. Ability to maintain consistent hand pressure and precision during extended periods of assembly work. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented production environment. Commitment to safety, quality, and productivity standards. Work Environment Manufacturing and production facility environment. Frequent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, respirators, and safety footwear as required. Extended periods of standing and performing detailed hand work. Overtime may be required based on production needs. Physical Requirements Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements throughout the workday. Ability to lift, move, and handle production materials as required. Ability to work with precision tools and manufacturing equipment.
