GRAPHICS MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN 3
Headquarters - Grapevine, TX 76051 Apply Overview Position Type Full Time Apply Description
JOB SUMMARY
This graphics production position is responsible for all phases of graphic fabrication including laminating, mounting, assembling, installing, finishing and packaging various forms of dimensional, digital and vinyl graphics. The employee will be required to travel to job sites for on-site installs. Monitoring job progress to meet timelines, providing staff with technical assistance to maintain shop equipment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Follow established standard operating procedures to produce scheduled jobs on time. Identify and communicate delays or issues that may potentially keep a specific job from being completed. Ensure quality standards are maintained during production, upload QC photos to server. Confirm orders are accurate for quantities, material type and size specifications. Maintain a clean and efficient work area. Assist the rest of the production team with all finishing, packaging as needed. Maintain daily production records. Follow the basic daily preventative maintenance flow chart for all equipment. Lift material of 75lb or more. Track material Inventory. Post material and labor consumption on production orders in ERP system Motivating staff to ensure all deadlines are met. Implementing and ensuring staff adhere to Health and Safety and Corporate policies Assist Prepress department and keep the queue of jobs clean Providing staff with technical assistance and training to develop production and installation skills. Supervise basic installations and complete more advanced installations with appropriate staff. Call Technical Support for printer services Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent. 10 years of applicable experience. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously and take initiative. Must be detail oriented and possess strong mechanical, communication and organization skills. Ability to work accurately and quickly under company deadlines. Cooperative, courteous, flexible and good natured. Conscientious, persistent, resourceful, productive and active. Must have the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion in establishing and maintaining good working relationships and deal with employees in an efficient and professional manner. Trade show experience a plus Must have reliable transportation. Must have attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks and commitment to meeting and exceeding deadlines and goals. Valid drivers license. Share job details to
