Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Beam Line Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) , service the laser beam line machinery to produce precise metal components. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, uphold quality standards, and contribute to the seamless flow of fabrication operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced machinery and cutting-edge manufacturing technology and techniques in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence. Duties Set up, program, and operate CNC beam line machines, press brake machines, ensuring optimal performance and precision. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) files to accurately produce components. Utilize CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming software to develop and modify machining programs for various fabrication tasks. Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to specifications. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment, troubleshoot issues promptly, and coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs or tooling adjustments. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Ensure quality control by inspecting finished parts, documenting production data, and maintaining compliance with manufacturing standards. Requirements Proven experience operating CNC machinery, CNC lathes, or CNC beam lines within a manufacturing or factory environment. Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls or similar CNC programming platforms; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable. Ability to read blueprints accurately and apply GD&T principles for precise machining. Mechanical aptitude with understanding of tooling setup, fabrication processes, welding, stamping presses, and press brake operations. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), factory safety procedures, and materials handling equipment like forklifts. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining tolerances and measurements; proficiency in SolidWorks or CAD software is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. Prior experience working in a manufacturing facility or assembly line environment is preferred; warehouse experience is advantageous.
