  • Ability to follow written instructions, safety protocols, and quality standards
  • Basic understanding of equipment operation in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify issues and escalate appropriately
  • Basic math skills (division, multiplication, etc)
  • Lift and move materials (20-50 lbs) as part of the production process
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Pluses:
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience using quality control tools/forms or performing inspections
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, dolly)
  • Exposure to continuous improvement or quality-focused environments Day to
Day:
Insight Global is searching for a Production Technician to support one of their customers in the Aerospace and Defense industry. Some of this position's responsibilities include:
  • Perform assembly line functions and assist with building/finishing products under supervisor guidance
  • Follow established processes, safety standards, and quality procedures
  • Inspect materials and finished goods using quality control (QC) methods
  • Submit and track raw material requests as needed for production
  • Identify and report defective materials or production issues to leadership
  • Support loading/unloading of materials using equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (as needed)
  • Assist with general production floor operations and other tasks as assigned
