Production Line Operator

Production Line Operator - Salt Lake City, US About Us Tencell is a designer, PCB contract manufacturer, and distributor of electronic components with offices in the UK, USA, Denmark, and soon Japan. We have an exceptional opportunity to join our growing global team in the role of SMT Line Supervisor working for Audias Technology, our fully funded start-up company at our Salt Lake City site. The Role Reporting to the Production Manager, you will receive training to run the production line to produce and deliver our products to our established client which meet quality standards, within budget and on time. Going forward, this role has scope for genuine career development.

MAIN DUTIES

• Machine programming & troubleshooting
• Provide assistance in machine repairs, calibration, and preventative maintenance
• SMT / Through Hole / Selective Soldering
• Follow the safety and ESD requirements for the specific production line or area assigned
• Perform all duties assigned by the Production Manager.
• Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance with 5S protocol
• Report all incidents (spills, accidents, equipment problems) to the lead
• Perform other related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates

ABOUT YOU

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to sit, stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 35 lbs.
• Must be able to wear required ESD and Personal Protective equipment (PPE) for extended periods of time
• Must show proficiency in the operation of soldering irons, soldering and appropriate temperature control Required
• Ability to read, understand and retain work instructions
• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work as part of a team to meet production demands
• Good vision
• Fluent English oral and written communication skills
• Basic math skills
• Sound IT skills including Excel and Outlook
• Demonstrable work record and able to provide references Desired
• Basic electronics industry experience
• Machine operating and programming experience
• Experience of SMT / Through Hole / Soldering
