Position Summary As a Production Operator, you'll be at the heart of what we do — building, repairing, and customizing Kimbo Campers. You'll work hands-on in a dynamic manufacturing environment, ensuring every camper meets our high standards of quality, safety, and customer experience. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving problems, and contributing ideas in a team-oriented, fast-paced shop environment. What You'll Do Build new campers by following SOPs and installing components accurately. Repair and restore campers to base integrity standards. Share ideas and collaborate to improve products and processes. Participate in team discussions and meetings. Use a forklift to unload pallets and move large kits or completed units. Perform a variety of fabrication and assembly tasks: drilling, cutting, riveting, folding, mounting, gluing, wiring, and installing accessories (solar, fans, Starlink, etc.). What We're Looking For Legally authorized to work in the United States. High School diploma or GED. 1-2+ years of production or assembly experience (preferred). Ability to read and follow written, oral, or diagram-based instructions. Strong organization and time management skills. Comfortable using digital tools (ERP, Email, Time Tracking, Google/Microsoft suites). Team player who embodies Kimbo's values of integrity, quality, and customer focus. Skills We Value Experience with hand tools and cutting tools (Sawzall, jigsaw, grinder, etc.). Basic knowledge of 12v/low-voltage electrical systems. Painting experience Carpentry skills Sheet metal fabrication Problem solving skills Custom fabrication Assembly, kitting operations Cad Design CNC Experience Familiarity with proper PPE selection for various materials and tasks. Physical Environment & Requirements Indoor fabrication environment with variable temps, noise, and work conditions PPE (eye, ear, respirators) provided and required in designated zones 40-hour work week as standard; occasional extended hours may be necessary Frequent standing, walking, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending Occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs and ladder climbing Ability to drive short distances for job-related errands Benefits & Perks We value our people's well-being and balance.
