Job Description
Manufacturing Support Engineer/Technician We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Support Engineer/Technician to support our production operations. This role is critical to ensuring equipment uptime, safety, and overall operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prefer candidates that are looking to grow in to supervisor role or operations related roles. Senasys, Inc., a 26 year old locally owned and operated manufacturing company, has manufacturing support positions available in Eau Claire. No nights, weekends, holidays or mandatory OT! Training provided. Job duties will include but are not limited to the following:
- Support the manufacturing operations, managing automation projects mechanization projects, improving or replacing equipment.
- Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic equipment (based on facility requirements).
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Install and set up equipment, including alignment, calibration, and testing.
- Assist with continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and outside contractors as needed.
Job requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing support.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with equipment such as pneumatic presses, welders and automation.
- Ability to use multimeters, power tools, measuring devices, and repair equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
- Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of complex equipment for example HVAC systems, machine tools, stamping presses, PLC controlled automated equipment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and safety regulations (OSHA, Lockout/Tagout).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, or kneel for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. This is a first shift Monday through Friday position that includes
