Role:
The 2nd Shift, Monday through Thursday 2:00pm-12:00am, Paint Line Support role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the paint production line during the evening shift. This position focuses on maintaining consistent quality standards, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting the production team to meet daily output goals. The role requires close collaboration with maintenance and quality assurance teams to promptly address any disruptions and implement corrective actions. The successful candidate will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing paint application processes and minimizing downtime. Ultimately, this position plays a key role in delivering high-quality painted products that meet customer specifications and company standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in paint line or similar operations. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate production machinery. Ability to work the 2nd shift schedule reliably. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with paint application processes or coatings technology. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting. Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to production equipment. Experience using computerized production tracking or quality management systems. Certification in industrial safety or related fields.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and support the paint line operations to ensure consistent product quality and production efficiency during the 2nd shift. Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on paint line equipment to identify and resolve issues promptly. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve operational problems. Document production data, quality metrics, and any incidents or deviations according to company procedures. Assist in implementing process improvements and safety protocols to enhance line performance and workplace safety.
