Brake Press Operator

IQ Resource Group is currently recruiting for a mechanically inclined Brake Press Operator for a growing customer in Manitowoc. This is a 2nd shift position working only 4 days a week and offers excellent benefits with hire.

Hours:

4:00pm to 2:30am Monday to Thursday Will train on 1st shift

Wage:

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate brake press machines safely and efficiently to produce parts according to blueprint specifications. Perform general machine operation and fabrication duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances. Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to maintain accurate bends and consistent production quality. Fabricate, form, and inspect metal components according to production requirements. Perform quality inspections on finished parts and complete production paperwork accurately. Retrieve and stage materials needed for production runs. Troubleshoot machine or tooling issues and assist with process improvements when needed. Perform light preventative maintenance and maintain a clean, organized work area following safety and 5S standards. Assist with training other operators on brake press setup and operation procedures.

Requirements:
