Job Description

Production Technician:
The assembler, will assemble electronics to blueprint specifications by gathering parts, reading instructions, and using specific tools.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret schematic drawing, diagrams, blueprints specifications, work orders, and reports in order to determine material requirements and assembly instruction
  • Assemble electrical or electronic systems and support structures; install components, units, and wiring using shop tools
  • Inspect units for accuracy and quality and work with supervisor to resolve issues
  • Assist in maintain a well-organized assembly area and part inventory/stocking area
  • Observe and practice safe working procedures
  • Assemble electromechanical components with interconnecting wiring
  • Cut, strip, bend and mount wires to connect panels
  • Installs finished assemblies or sub-assemblies into cases or cabinets
  • Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, and defective materials to shop manager Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Basic math and recording abilities
  • Self-starter, ability to work well within teams and individually, proactive
  • Strong troubleshooting and quality control skills
  • Ability to lift, carry and move up to 50 pounds
