Job Description

Make Things That Last Join our production welding team and transform cut or fabricated components into reliable assemblies. If you thrive on precision, take pride in clean beads, and enjoy collaborating to solve shop-floor challenges, this role is for you. What You'll Do Operate electric-arc welding equipment to produce standardized, repetitive, and custom weldments. Follow samples, engineering drawings, sketches, and written instructions to plan each job. Help design, lay out, and build weld fixtures that ensure accurate, repeatable fit‑ups. Inspect your work to documented procedures and meet all quality system requirements; work may require secondary approval. Select and tune parameters (heats, wires, electrodes) and make compensating adjustments for material or condition changes. Assist fellow welders per Lead personnel or Supervision to meet project needs. Support troubleshooting of machines and related equipment issues. Work safely, follow company safety standards, and help maintain a safe environment. Meet routed rates or other specified production targets consistently. Complete job paperwork precisely and report daily task status. Maintain a clean, orderly work area; reset your station at job completion or end of shift. Handle other assigned duties as needed. Must-Have Qualifications High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 years in a manufacturing setting; or equivalent education/experience as determined by the Shop Supervisor or the Operations Manager. Solid math proficiency and effective communication. Ability to accurately read and interpret drawings and production process documentation. Confident, fluent use of a tape measure. This job requires that the employee occasionally bend, twist, reach and lift of up to 50 lbs. The employee must be able to hear and communicate verbally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Physically capable of wearing a welder's shield and respirator as needed is required.
