  • $45 an hour 10 hours ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Assembly quality control testing Machine setup Maintenance inventory management Equipment setup (production tasks) Maintaining an organized workspace Inspection tools Blueprint specification interpretation Manufacturing facilities cleaning Calibration Teaching welding Cutting Process improvement Airframe & Powerplant License Cleanroom protocols Mid-level Forklift Manufacturing standard operating procedures Assembly Manufacturing facility Machining Pipe cutting Manufacturing maintenance 1 year Manufacturing Training Full Job Description 3-6 Month Project $30•45 DOE Shift Schedule First shift: 5am•2:30pm Second shift: 2pm•10:30pm Responsibilities Create and follow procedures to setup and operate the orbital welding system Work from blueprints and approved drawings Work alongside engineering to provide insight to process improvements Cut and prepare tubing and fittings used in the welding operation Perform setup and maintenance of the welding system Assist in training other teammates in orbital tube welding Work with final integration teams to weld on vehicle assembly Assemble and calibrate liquid controllers and systems as required Inspect all completed assemblies using borescope and other inspection tools Maintain an adequate supply of spare parts for the welding system Maintain a clean work area, practicing "clean as you go" and general housekeeping standards Assist in facility needs Minimum Qualifications 1+ year of welding, machining or manufacturing experience OR certificate from an accredited trade skills program in A&P, manufacturing, welding, and/or electronics Preferred Skills & Experience Certification from a formal orbital weld training program 3+ years of orbital welding experience Clean room experience Airframe and powerplant (A&P) license TIG welding and clean room experience Experience working in an aerospace manufacturing environment Strong forklift experience Additional Requirements Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

  • 8 hours min Able to stoop, bend, crawl, and being able to maneuver in tight spaces Able to work in small teams to ensure production needs are consistently me This role is subject to ITAR requirements.
