This role is responsible for managing engineering projects from concept through implementation, working cross-functionally with production, maintenance, quality, and external vendors to ensure successful execution.
Responsibilities:
Manage full lifecycle of engineering projects from scope definition through implementation and handoff to operations Develop project scope, timelines, budgets, and technical specifications Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to execute capital and process improvement projects Support installation, modification, and startup of manufacturing equipment and systems Review and develop technical drawings, layouts, and documentation using 2D and 3D CAD tools Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and applicable safety and regulatory requirements Track project budgets, timelines, and deliverables to ensure alignment with business objectives Support procurement activities including vendor selection, quoting, and contractor coordination Develop standard operating procedures and training documentation for new processes or equipment Participate in troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts related to manufacturing processes
Qualifications:
Experience working in a manufacturing environment (plastics, film, compounding, or similar industrial production) Experience managing engineering or capital projects within a production facility Experience working with electro-mechanical systems, equipment modifications, or system integration Experience reading and modifying technical drawings and layouts Proficiency with 2D and/or 3D CAD software Experience coordinating vendors, contractors, and cross-functional teams Experience tracking project budgets, schedules, and deliverables Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools
Compensation:
Base salary in the 85k
