Job Description

Metallurgical Inspector sought by Heartland Precision Fasteners, Inc. for a position based in New Century, KS. Must have a master's degree in metallurgical engineering.
Duties include:
Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials. Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work. Must have working knowledge of the use of Micrometers, Calipers, and Optical Comparator.
