Department NIAR Composites & Structures
  • Advanced Materials Research Campus Location Wichita, KS
  • WSU Main Campus Hire Type Part Time Pay $15
  • 18 per hour Work Schedule Based on class schedule Export Compliance Requirement This position requires access to EAR or ITAR controlled technologies.
Applicants are required to be eligible for employment under U.S. export control laws and must meet the requirement of being a "U.S. Citizen". Job Story The Advanced Materials Research group is looking for an assistant interested in pursuing an engineering (or related field) degree. This position will be based in Wichita, KS and will see you work closely with engineers at NIAR to support our growing government and industry customer base. If you are detail oriented, enjoy challenging and rewarding work, and like being part of a team, consider applying for this position. Job Duties This position will focus on learning and supporting all aspects of applied research for various government and industry customers. Projects are focused on characterization and qualification of materials and structures as well as integration into cutting-edge applications. This position will be based in Wichita, KS and will see you work closely with engineers at NIAR to support our growing government and industry customer base.
