The historic Town of Concord, Massachusetts invites qualified civil engineering professionals to apply for the position of Assistant Town Engineer. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our community's infrastructure, managing diverse municipal projects, and providing public service with a collaborative public works department. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills. Position requires equivalent to BS degree in related field plus 7-10 years' experience. Valid driver's license, Professional Engineer registration and ability to obtain Soil Evaluator license is required.

Starting salary range:

$97,177.60 to $116,136.23, per year ($46.72 to $55.83 per hour), depending on qualifications. This is a full-time position with a complete benefits package. Applications will continue to be accepted until filled. Appointment of the final candidate will be contingent upon the results of pre-placement conditions including criminal, credit and motor vehicle record checks, a physical exam, and a drug screening. Costs for these pre-placement requirements will be borne by the Town.
