Earlbeck is expanding its welding inspection and technical services offerings to meet growing customer demand throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. We are seeking a Welding Inspection Services Specialist to support our growing inspection and certification business throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania and Virginia. Most travel consists of regional day trips, with occasional overnight travel. No two weeks are the same. You'll work across a wide range of industries, welding processes, and applications throughout the Mid-Atlantic backed by the resources of the Earlbeck Technical Center. You'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on manufacturers while continuing to grow your own technical expertise. What You'll Do Perform welding inspections in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and customer requirements. Conduct visual weld inspections and document findings through detailed inspection reports. Verify welder qualifications and support welder performance qualification testing. Review Welding Procedure Specifications (WPSs), Procedure Qualification Records (PQRs), and Welder Qualification Records (WQRs). Witness and document welding procedure qualification tests and welder qualification tests. Review fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and project specifications for compliance. Assist customers in developing and implementing welding quality programs. Provide technical guidance regarding welding processes, consumables, and best practices. Troubleshoot welding quality issues and support root cause investigations. Coordinate and oversee destructive and nondestructive testing activities when required. Work directly with customer production, quality, and engineering teams to improve welding quality and reduce rework. Represent Earlbeck as a trusted technical resource and advocate for welding excellence. Why Join Earlbeck? Job Requirements AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification. Minimum 3 years of experience in welding inspection, fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a related field. Working knowledge of common welding processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, codes, and specifications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license.
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
