Back Corrosion Lead Test Engineer#2015447 Chelsea, Michigan, United StatesApply X Facebook LinkedIn Email Copy Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Corrosion Lead Test Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to lead full vehicle corrosion testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corrosion testing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Lead and manage full vehicle corrosion testing projects, ensuring accurate and reliable resultsDevelop and implement testing protocols and procedures for corrosion assessmentConduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of vehicle corrosion performanceAnalyze test data and prepare detailed technical reports and documentationCollaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to address corrosion-related issuesProvide technical guidance and support for the application of corrosion prevention strategiesStay updated with industry advancements, standards, and best practices in corrosion testingPresent findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholdersParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes and product quality Location(s) 3700 S. United States Requirements Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in corrosion testing or a similar role, or related experienceProven experience in leading and managing corrosion testing projectsStrong understanding of corrosion mechanisms, testing methods, and industry standardsProficiency in using testing equipment and software for data analysisExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:
