Job Description

Westgold Resources is shaping the future of gold mining in Western Australia. We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team who shares our vision of building a sustainable and profitable major Australian gold business. THE ROLE
Monitor day-to-day performance of all aspects of the gold processing plant. Conduct metallurgical accounting and reconciliation for gold production. Ensure production and cost targets achieved and adjust key operating parameters. Provide technical support to operations staff. Train and mentor operations staff. Monitor and optimise performance of the MSA and provide feedback to stakeholders. Oversea on-site laboratory operations Carry out designated metallurgical test work and metallurgical duties in a professional manner. Assist in the preparation and ongoing management of department budgets and forecasts. Establish and execute short term and long-term projects aimed at improving process plant efficiency. Monitoring the availability and usage of critical process reagents and consumables
WHAT DO I NEED
Current "C" Class Manual Western Australian driver's licence Tertiary Qualification in Metallurgy or related discipline Minimum 2 to 3 years' experience in mineral processing Sound working knowledge of processing plant equipment and processes - crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, tailings and reagent circuits Experienced in monitoring and optimising plant metallurgical performance, including responsibility for daily metallurgical accounting Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel) Experience with online analysis systems (desirable) Excellent written and oral communication Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable Excellent communication skills A can-do, team-oriented attitude
