Position Description You will serve as a Supervisory Electronics Engineer H-60 Avionics Lead in one of the In-Service Support Centers(ISSC) Fleet Support Teams of

FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities Ensure the technical engineering competence, knowledge, and professional services required to sustain the weapon system, associated components, and related support systems. Provide leadership with engineering information with a focus on technical analysis, engineering investigations, economic analysis, and support services for making platform sustainment and acquisition decisions. Oversee development or evaluation of engineering and logistics documents, engineering change proposals, technical directives, inspection/maintenance requirements, repairs and redesign of the platform's systems and components. Oversee development and management of products and services required to sustain economic operation and ensure airworthiness. Investigate, research, and determine applicability of major modifications for the program. This includes modifications that would extend service life, improve survivability, reliability and maintainability, and aircraft safety. Performs day to day technical and supervisory (performance, selections, discipline, and training) oversight of all branch/subordinate level engineers and related technical support personnel as assigned by the FST. Budget of FST branch assigned resources regarding training, workload execution, workload prioritization, and capabilities development for multiyear projections. Monitor performance of engineering technical analyses, engineering investigations, economic analyses and support services provided directly to the operational community.
