  • Tuition reimbursement Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develops, configures, and optimizes industrial welding processes from inception to start up using Lean concepts and processes.
Designs fixtures and devices to attain high quality outcomes. Facilitates and participates in cross-functional process improvement and problem-solving kaizen events. Applies engineering best practice to all work assignments and shares knowledge with other team members. Assesses processes, takes measurements, and interprets data to make improvements. Develops best practices, routines, and innovative welding solutions to improve production rates and quality of output. Performs welding process and design simulations and analysis. Performs risk assessments using FMEA method. Designs and conducts destructive and non-destructive testing. Develops welding process documentation and standard operating instructions. Responsible for maintenance of robot systems. Trains operators to properly run robots. Develop and improve programs PLC, Robot, CNC by using software to ensure efficient, cost-effective process cycles Other duties as required.
