Job Description
Responsible to oversee sampling of new tools and revised tools Responsible for improvement of current process, including cycle times, consistency, part quality, and labor reductions through improved ergonomics, suggestions for tooling repairs or automation Responsible for making sure there is an updated process set up documented with water diagram included Responsible to coordinate with customers, in house tooling, and sales for recommendations for tooling improvements Responsible to oversee all molding processes and identify problems or potential problems with quality systems to assist with general solutions for the problems Responsible to complete required paperwork Responsible for involvement in quality planning Responsible to be available to answer questions directly related to process, including being able to come in during off shift, if required Responsible for scrap reduction of current running tools as part of the overall improvement process Responsible to perform random audits on the production floor to make certain that quality and quantity standard are being met Responsible for reporting progress of projects and resources needed for improvements to General Manager Responsible to perform other related duties as required Responsible for a safe working environment Responsible for performing department procedures and processes to maintain the Quality Systems of ISO, AS, or TS, as applicable Responsible to check cycle times daily to meet quoted
