Job Description

Welding Engineer | Advanced Manufacturing Environment Overview Join a highly innovative manufacturing organization at the forefront of advanced engineering and production technologies. This is an opportunity to play a key role in developing cutting-edge processes, supporting complex production environments, and driving continuous improvement across critical operations. What You'll Be Doing As a Welding Engineer, you will serve as the subject matter expert for welding processes, supporting both production and new program development. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic process improvement. Provide technical leadership across welding operations, including lab environments, production support, and compliance standards Evaluate and improve welding processes, tooling, and equipment to enhance quality and efficiency Support engineering and quality teams on both existing and new product programs Develop and implement welding procedures, standards, and work instructions (fit-up, tack, weld, repair) Establish weld parameters including penetration, strength, and structural integrity for complex assemblies Lead training and certification programs for both robotic and manual welding processes (GMAW/TIG) Train maintenance teams on troubleshooting and repair of automated welding systems Support robotic welding operations, including setup, programming, and optimization Participate in new product launches and APQP processes related to welding systems and tooling Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and reliability Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams Interface with customers and suppliers as needed to support program success What We're Looking For We're seeking a technically strong, hands-on engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can lead both people and processes. Strong expertise in welding processes (robotic and/or manual
GMAW/TIG
