Engineer In Training - Planning and Engineering Rutherford County Government - 3.8 Murfreesboro, TN Job Details Full-time $73,489 - $78,867 a year 4 hours ago Benefits 457(b) Paid holidays Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Employee assistance program Vision insurance Loan forgiveness Qualifications Research Full Job Description The purpose of this job is to provide assistance to the Rutherford County Engineering Department in the technical areas concerning the roadways, drainage, to include hydrological and hydraulic studies, retention and detention areas, erosion controls, and transportation engineering models and studies as they pertain to Rutherford County as directed. Duties and responsibilities include reviewing plans, permits, and applications for compliance, performing studies using hydrological and hydraulic models, updating technical specifications, implementing appropriate procedures, ordinances and checklists, developing and maintaining a storm water system map and database, assisting with all aspects of the NPDES Stormwater Program, researching information and preparing reports, and developing project cost estimates.
