Job Description

Perform visual and nondestructive inspections of structural steel welds per
AWS D1.1
standards Interpret welding symbols, blueprints, engineering drawings, and WPS/PQR documents Verify welder qualifications and maintain certification records Monitor welding procedures to ensure compliance with
AWS D1.1
Structural Welding Code Conduct pre-weld, in-process, and post-weld inspections Document inspection results and prepare detailed reports Identify non-conformances and recommend corrective actions Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements Review welding Procedure Specifications, building and welding plans, keep record of equipment calibration, and welding materials. Monitor the welding process Communicate effectively with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams

D1.1, D1.3, D1.4 and D1.6 Bilingual a plus
